Ann Arbor — The University of Michigan Health System has joined with Together Health Network as a referral provider for complex quaternary health care services, the health systems announced. Quaternary care services are highly specialized services such as transplant services, specialized pediatric care or certain cancer clinical trial services. Together Health Network formed in 2014 as a partnership between Catholic care providers Trinity Health and Ascension Health, along with thousands of physician partners. The addition of the University of Michigan Health System allows patients of the Catholic health networks to access such specialized care at one of the nation’s best-regarded medical facilities, as well as access to more hospitals and ambulatory partners across southeast Michigan.
